ITAC Presents: 100 Cups of Coffee

Real conversations. Real people. Real change.

Big change doesn’t start in meetings. It starts with conversations. A quick chat. A shared concern. A new idea.
One conversation leads to another and before you know it, change is already happening.

That’s what 100 Cups of Coffee is all about.
10 cups
20% Caffeinated, 100% Determined!
What Is It?
100 Cups of Coffee is a simple, grassroots effort to bring people together through honest, everyday conversations.

No presentations.
No pressure.
No perfect words needed.
Just people talking to people about what matters.

At ITAC, our mission is to prevent youth substance use by empowering our community with conversations, education, and access to support. But the most important insights don’t come from reports - they come from you.

We believe the people closest to the challenges are closest to the solutions. This is your chance to be part of that.
How It Works

It’s simple:
👉 Have 5 conversations with people in your life
👉 Talk about what’s really going on in our community
👉 Share what you hear with ITAC

That’s it.

Your “cup of coffee” can happen:
  • At your kitchen table
  • During a walk
  • At a game or practice
  • Over lunch or coffee
  • In the car with your kids

These are not formal interviews, just real conversations.
What to Talk About

Not sure how to start? Try asking:
  • Have you heard of ITAC before?
  • What concerns you most about substance use in our community?
  • What do you think is missing or needs to change?
  • What would actually help youth and families right now?
  • Who else do you think I should talk to?

Let the conversation flow naturally - sometimes the best insights come from unexpected places.

After each conversation, ask: “Who else should I talk to?”
That’s how 5 conversations turn into 100 and how small moments turn into meaningful change.
Why It Matters

Too often, decisions are made without hearing from the people most affected. This campaign is about changing that.

Your conversations will help:
  • Identify real community needs
  • Shape future prevention efforts
  • Bring new voices into the work
  • Build stronger connections across our community

We’re not just collecting information, we’re building solutions together.

Share What You Hear

After your conversations, tell us what stood out:
  • A few notes
  • Key takeaways
  • Common themes
  • Ideas or suggestions

Even one insight makes a difference.

100 Cups of Coffee – Conversation Reflection

Thanks for taking the time to connect with someone in your community. This isn’t a report - just share what stood out to you. Even a few sentences help. No need to overthink it. Real, honest conversations are what matter most.
