Evidence Based Prevention
CLYDE Survey
Since 2015, ITAC has collected data biennially through empirically sound, evidence-based Prevention Needs Assessment surveys. Currently, we employ the Community-Level Youth Development Evaluation (CLYDE) survey, developed by Catalyst Insight, LLC, for our evaluations. The CLYDE survey is a Drug-Free Communities (DFC)-approved instrument designed for shorter administration and faster report turnaround. It meets all DFC Core Measure requirements while gathering complementary data to help communities assess local issues and their root causes, build capacity, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate community processes and outcomes.
Our last survey was conducted in 2023 with 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th-grade students at the Iroquois Central School District.
