Now Hiring: Part-Time Program Director

About Us
ITAC – It takes a Community is a local coalition working to keep our youth healthy and substance-free. Our mission is to prevent youth substance use by empowering our community with conversations, education, and access to support. We partner with schools, families, and community members to bring positive programs and prevention efforts to our area.
 
About the Role
We’re looking for a Program Director to help lead our coalition. This part-time position is flexible and perfect for someone who enjoys organizing, connecting with people, and making a difference. The Program Director is the person who provides programmatic oversight of the grant and is accountable to the Authorized Organizational Representatives and Board of Directors of ITAC. The AOR and Program Director are responsible for the day-to-day running of the coalition, administration, program planning, implementation and evaluation, financial management and reporting and oversight of personnel and project management. 
 
What You’ll Do
• Plan and coordinate prevention programs and community activities
• Support coalition meetings (agendas, minutes, presentations, etc.)
• Help manage social media, website, and outreach materials
• Track program activities, budgets, and grant requirements
• Connect with partners, schools, and community members to build strong relationships
 
What We’re Looking For
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable with computers, social media, and basic recordkeeping
• Experience in community work, health promotion, or related fields is a plus
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
 
Details
• Part-time (about 20 hrs/week, varies with events)
• $23/hour (no benefits; reviewed annually)
• Flexible schedule — mostly weekdays, with some evenings/weekends
• Local travel; occasional out-of-state training (paid by grant)
