ABOUT ITAC
ITAC, which stands for "It Takes a Community," is a Drug & Alcohol Prevention Coalition founded in 2011 by concerned residents of Elma, Marilla, and Wales in response to youth suicides and overdoses. The coalition includes representatives from all 12 community sectors and 4 townships, aiming to address substance abuse and promote community well-being.
ITAC's Mission
Our mission is to increase awareness of and reduce youth substance use within the community and enhance communication between parents, youth, educators and residents, while utilizing data to drive prevention efforts, promote education, and provide access to resources.
